Sometimes it can be really hard for people to name or describe something that felt uncomfortable or harmful in terms of the available categories: sexual harassment, bullying, racism, etc. Others may find it difficult to pick one issue, since so often these harms (like our own identities) are intertwined, and not easy to isolate or disentangle.

Alternatively, talk to a “confidential resource,” who is a trained and confidential professional on campus or in the community.
